JLL Indonesia has announced the appointment of Rosari Chia as their new head of office leasing advisory with immediate effect, according to a press release on May 14. This move comes as part of JLL Indonesia’s efforts to enhance their leadership team, with the firm also recently appointing Vivin Harsanto as head of growth and Panji Aziz as head of tenant representation in March.
According to the press release, Chia’s appointment is aimed at strengthening JLL’s position in the market and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, personalized services that meet the changing needs of their Indonesian clients. She will be responsible for overseeing JLL’s office leasing platform in Indonesia and providing transactional and leasing advisory services to their clients. Chia will also be joining JLL Indonesia’s country leadership team, working closely with executives across different business lines in the region.
Farazia Basarah, country head of JLL Indonesia, stated that Chia’s extensive experience and strong client relationships make her the perfect fit to lead the firm’s office leasing advisory business in Indonesia. Michael Glancy, JLL’s managing director for Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, and Vietnam, also added that Chia’s promotion is in line with the firm’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders in Southeast Asia.
Chia has been with JLL since 2006 and has held various leasing roles, successfully closing several complex deals and negotiations in the metro Jakarta region. She has also been actively involved in JLL Indonesia’s Women Transforming Tech and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion networks.
